Suggested Resolutions
for the 6th IFLAC PAVE PEACE CONGRESS
1. GLOBAL PEACE AND SECURITY
IFLAC PAVE PEACE will do
its utmost to build a better world where no child will be hungry,
and no one will die of famine. There is enough food in the world to feed everybody,
if we redirect our resources to building humanity and not to destroying it
through wars, violence and armaments.
2. POVERTY REDUCTION
An NGO like IFLAC can indeed help in POVERTY REDUCTION through
the spreading of new values of justice and a more equal distribution of global
resources, through its writings, its Digests and its creative works, research
and literature. IFLAC will promote its
activities and creations for the reduction of poverty and famine toward its
ultimate annulment in our global village.
3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF
WOMEN
IFLAC PAVE PEACE will do its utmost to promote women globally,
through its daily activities and IFLAC Digest, and through the organization of
the "MEDITERRANEAN GATHER THE WOMEN CONGRESS", in Haifa, from September
14 to 17, 2006. All are welcome to join. We call on all women organizations to
send their Delegates to this important and innovative Congress, preceding the
IFLAC 6th Congress.
4. THE 6TH IFLAC CONGRESS IN HAIFA
All the IFLAC BOARD MEMBERS and AMBASSADORS pledge to actively
participate in the 6th IFLAC MEDITERRANEAN CONGRESS in Haifa, in
September 17 to 21, 2006. We will all
spread the word and the Invitations and Program of this historic and exciting
congress to all our friends and lists, and try to make it a powerful and
influential happening that will promote the world we are yearning to create: A
WORLD BEYOND WAR, VIOLENCE AND TERROR – A GLOBAL VILLAGE OF MUTUAL RESPECT,
LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING. Please send your
15 minutes proposal for a Paper in one of the Panels, or at a Roundtable, or a
proposal for an artistic presentation.
Best regards and success in the implementation of all the above
Resolutions in each of your countries and region.
