Welcome

This part of the NEW HORIZONS ;site is designed to gather and provide historical and current information on the Jews From Egypt, one of the most ancient established societies and communities in the world. We will attempt to cover the period from Joseph Saadia el Fayoumi (Saadia Gaon) to the present day.

The mission of this research on the Jews from Egypt, is to preserve, maintain, coordinate the implementation, and to convey our rich heritage to our children and grand children, as well as to the world.  The pluralistic Jewish Community in Egypt in the twentieth century, is an example and model of what the third millenium is heading to: a multi-cultural society living in peace and harmony with its neighbors.  We will use all research, cultural and educational means at our disposal, to bring into being the necessary foundations for spreading this model to our global village.
