The Congress Committee meeting was held in 57
Horev Street, Haifa on
Present: Prof.Ada
Aharoni, Prof. Haim Aharoni, Jacques Perez, and
Andree Habif.
After a fruitful exchange of ideas and discussion
the following decisions were agreed upon:
1.
Approval of finalized Minutes no.1 by the Committee.
2.
Jacques Perez informed the Committee that Mr.Avraham Peron
has agreed to act as Treasurer of the Congress and to:
a) prepare an initial framework for securing finances for the
organization and realisation of the Conference and suggest possible sources
for its funding.
b) to assist in the collection of subscriptions and donations
in
3. Artisit Eli Cohen (who originates from
Logo for the Congress, and has already sent us some
samples.
4. Ms. Marlene Peretz from Raanana has agreed
to act as Spokesperson on behalf of the Committee and also as cultural
organizer for the duration of the Conference.
5.Ms. Andree Habif has been appointed as
Secretary of the ICJE Committee.
6.Essential dates have been fixed for the preparations of the organization of the Congress:
a) Dec.1
2004 - Preparation and
publication of full list (and addresses) of the International organizers
of the Congress.
b)
c) January 2005 - CALL FOR PAPERS for the ICJE.
d) May 2005 - Preliminary Program of the Congress.
e) May 2005 - Publicize the ICJE and
diffusing relevant information.
f) September 2005 - Drafting a
programme of events around the Congress.
g) November 2005 - Finalizing the full Program of the ICJE and printing the Invitations.
h) January 2006 - Sending out the Invitations.
